Namecoin graffitis’ ownership expires, colored coins can be uncolored, Vogler’s artworks ownership can be compromised by overlapping UTXO splits, OLGA’s token and image broadcast are disconnected on-chain, most SoGs & Rare Pepes have broken/empty on-chain data and are divisible,

The creator of the 2012 Fuckyea on-chain images has finally been identified: a creative coder exploring blockchain since 2010 — and still a crypto artist today. It turns out the two pixel-made assets may in fact be the earliest crypto arts ever made 👇 medium.com/@archivist-eth…

1/ On Fiat Culture NFTs are the scarcest cultural objects ever made, the only cultural objects with pristine provenance. They are not BTC, but they will behave over time in ways that emotionally parallel BTC for the $100T in global intangibles.

Both Kevin McCoy and Ryan Bell lost ownership of their respective Namecoin creations—Quantum (2014) and Fuckyea (2012)—yet their views on provenance differ. Ryan stands by the original 2012 asset, while Kevin disowned the 2014 Quantum entry and reminted it on Ethereum in 2021.

I wish people knew the scarcity of "privatize-able" non-fungible crypto objects with true 2015 timestamp on ethereum. Fun Fact: There are way more rolex watches out there than there are collectible Non-Fungible Asset circa 2009 - 2018 across all known blockchain.

"In the world full of AIs" You should consider On-chain NFTs within pre-OpenAI era (< 2022) why? The only verifiable digital asset with crafted-by-human or Pre-AI narrative. Not as scarce as Pre-ERC721 Narrative, but still Scarce. "Purist" & "Naturalist" narrative.

everyone now has access to AI. There will be barely any form of 'originality' or purely-by-human tangibles. if there is, very difficult to prove. Wonder if there's any trusted medium to verify whether or not something was human made? what if its a tradable collectible? hmmmm

That feeling when you paid over $200,000 for a pixel head that you thought were the first ever NFTs but find out they’re not only not the first ever NFTs but also not even the first version of pixel heads but actually a replica

I've always known that Stablecoin is cancerous to the community, it's literally just another gov psyops. Wouldn't even touch it with a 10 feet pole. Though it's good for assets that are truly scarce, but a net negative overall for the community in my humble opinion.

Historics.xyz will be coming back, this time with a lot more force and more IRL stuff that does matter :) Bringing more eyes to the HNFT Community, soon hopefully (can only do so much alone lol). Might doxx as well in the process, who knows...
