New Catch of the Month! Mary Costin caught this Black Drum out of Corpus Christi Bay on April 22 using a rod and reel with an artificial 4 inch paddletail. Mary decided to commemorate this incredible catch with an Outstanding Angler Award! Congrats Mary! tpwd.texas.gov/fishboat/fish/…

Seeing double? The father son duo of David & Brian Koprowski each caught monster Largemouth Bass out of Canyon Lake on 5/17/24! David's (top left) fish was 23 inches long, and Brian's (bottom left) fish was 24.5 inches. Both earned a Big Fish Award for their catch. Congrats!

Austin Anderson caught this massive Smallmouth Buffalo on 6/10/24 using a rod and reel.  Austin earned a Big Fish Award, Water Body Record, Water Body Catch-and-Release Record, and--last but not least--a State Catch-and-Release Record for his catch.

Chad Barron caught this beautiful Flathead Catfish at J. B. Thomas on June 6 using a rod and reel. This fish weighed 34.34 lbs and measured 40 inches long. He earned a Water Body Record and an Outstanding Angler Award for his catch and the fish was released to swim another day!
