Until Jun 27, we’re working with Toronto Police on an enforcement blitz targeting drivers who fail to follow the rules by stopping in No Stopping Zones. Vehicles stopped in these zones can disrupt traffic & make our roads less safe; they can receive a $190 ticket or be towed.

Drug Squad officers took some terrifying firepower off the streets – a loaded handgun with a 50-round magazine, as well seizing 10 kilos of cocaine, carfentanil, fentanyl and crystal meth. Five arrests in two July 10 warrants near Jane St. and Weston Rd. area.

Last week, 110 charges were laid against 17 people — 15 adults and 2 youths — following the seizure of 10 crime guns. Seven of those charged were granted bail. Keeping our communities safe and tackling gun violence is a priority for us.
