🚨 The Department for Work and Pensions has released its annual Households Below Average Income statistics, which show that child poverty has reached a record high – with 4.5 million children in the UK now below the poverty line. This figure is up from 3.6 million in 2010/11.




This weekend marks the 8th year the two-child limit to benefit payments has been in place. 1 child every 13 mins falls into poverty because of this policy. The govt must scrap it in the upcoming Child Poverty Strategy. End Child Poverty
