An unusual visitor to the port recently. HNLMS Zeeleeuw. A walrus class submarine of the Royal Netherlands Navy. It was assisted into port by the tugs of itchen marine. Ours are a bit big for that.

Temporary new addition to the port as Manxman arrives onto 104 berth. Nice to see Shieldhall out in full summer mode. Regular caller MSC Virtuoso about to head off on another cruise.

Not so regular callers - cruise ships Riviera and Seven Seas Splendour. Weather was a lot more amicable when these two arrived unlike current conditions.

Take a look at this ship. Carrying new equipment for Fawley Marine Terminal. I also helped move a barge which will carry this equipment up to Fawley. Not something you see everyday. Night and day photos.

Beautiful sunrise this morning on Southampton water. This was our last ship of the night after a long shift. It was the OOCL Montreal cutting a shadow through the sunrise.

The newest edition to the Cunard Fleet - Queen Anne arriving at dawn this morning. And Anthem of the Sea's arriving just after her. We were in to assist Britannia into the Ocean Terminal. No pics unfortunately.

We made a special guest appearance today in Portsmouth Harbour to help with the departure of Prince Of Wales Aircraft Carrier. It was great to be a part of it after watching it from afar many times.

Arvia looking splendid in the spring sunshine. Wyeforce of Itchen Marine heading into the dry dock with the Yeoman Bank. Probably the oldest ship to regularly call at the port. Last photo is Norwegian Aqua. I love the water slide on that one. Anyone tried it?
