The Alton Towers Resort website has been updated to advise that Postman Pat Parcel Post & Get Set Go Tree Top Adventure will close from Tuesday 3rd June. Whilst Get Set Go will reopen in early July, Postman Pat Parcel Post is due to be replaced by Project Sunshine, a new junior coaster.

Farewell, Postman Pat Parcel Post! Installed in 2014 during the CBeebies Land retheme, this ride replaced Old MacDonald’s Tractor Ride. Manufactured by Metallbau Emmein GmbH & Co, it now closes to make way for a rumoured Bluey-themed coaster!

Construction hoarding is in the process of being installed around the former site of Postman Pat Parcel Post, following the ride's permanent closure in the last week, with the ride's hardware and theming already in the process of being removed.

Quick progress has also been made on shortening the route of Get Set Go, with the new route no longer going through the tunnel. While all of the new track and supports appear to be in-situ, it seems there is still work to be done to connect and align it with the existing track.

Over in CBeebies Land, Get Set Go Tree Top Adventure has re-opened early after having its track re-routed in anticipation of the new coaster project for 2026. A new sign has been added which states "The use of filming and camera equipment is strictly prohibited whilst riding".
