Oh man every federal election I just feel so sorry for everyone not on the west coast, like I'm exhausted watching this already and it's not even 8:30pm lol #cdnpoli

"You vote once in four years, and that’s your political responsibility? That’s the height of bourgeois propaganda, making the people politically irresponsible. Thinking their responsibility is limited to a one day vote. Politics is every day." -Kwame Ture

remember that there is way more than enough wealth to ensure good housing, affordable food and healthy, vibrant communities but a very small number of people make the conscious, deliberate decision to spend it on missles and drones and stuff instead

You don't hear much about this from "unleash Canada's economy!" conservatives because for them it's not actually about jobs and thriving communities but enriching resource corporations

Bill 15 raises concerns about projects being fast tracked under the guise of responding to Trump’s tariffs, and watering down the EA process. Additionally UBCIC is concerned the Province is not upholding its own interim process on alignment of laws with UNDRIP, or UNDRIP itself.

Reacting to the US trade war by tramping Indigenous rights and environmental regulations is the worst, most gutless kind of politics. The BC NDP should be ashamed of itself. vancouverisawesome.com/economy-law-po…

From Doug Ford’s Bill 5 to David Eby’s Bill 15, Canadian premiers ‘standing up to Trump’ by pushing through destructive, Trump-style cuts to transparency and oversight is the worst trend of 2025.

Every #bcpoli election, the BC NDP issues dire warnings about how bad the liberals/conservatives would be for the environment if they were to win. Then when they're in power, they make it pretty tough to distinguish between the NDP and the boogeymen they warn about. #bcpoli

At this point it's pretty clear the BC NDP government's tariff response measures are in violation of it's commitments under DRIPA. It's time for Minister Christine Boyle to intervene before more damage is done. #bcpoli

In 2025, the big projects we should be building are clean energy and transportation infrastructure. But everything indicates Carney and the premiers will just buckle to big oil and give corporations the pipelines + terminals they want to rake in even more wealth at our expense.
