We had the worst experience Sunday eve where we had a breakdown on the motorway from 8:30pm until 5:30am when we ended up taking a taxi home. Totally abandoned by The AA. Still waiting for our car to be towed home... they promised around 1:00am today only to tell us 8:30am.

Also when I called for assistance and to hold The AA to this promise just a few mins ago, the customer service rep just dropped my call and was so rude! I just don’t understand why people have so little sympathy. Luckily the other customer service reps were kinder!

So worried about our car The AA, hope you try and be accountable to the reliability standard you make yourselves out offering. We were so scared and we didn’t know what to do in the middle of nowhere. Luckily we managed to make it to a petrol station after hours of waiting.

Sorry to set out the complaint via Twitter folks but I just can’t seem to get a hold of The AA and the queue for calls is so long. I’ve just never been so disappointed by a service provider to this extent before!

I hope The AA responds. Saw other Twitter users facing similar issues. Hope they get home ok. Appreciate AA staff efforts but in terms of customer service delivery, it’s been awful. AA needs to ask itself if it’s resourcing properly and making proper contingency arrangements.
