Theatre is a form of knowledge; it can also be a means of transforming society. Theatre can help us build our future, rather than just waiting for it. (Boal).

What a success! The cast of Lear performed brilliantly in the Shakespeare Schools Festival with Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation at Leatherhead Theatre this week. They did Ms Walker proud with her adaptation of King Lear, and we loved watching performances from the other schools too. Well done everyone!

GCSE and A Level Drama students were treated to comedy of the highest quality with a fabulous trip to Yvonne Arnaud Theatre to see prideandprejudicesortof yesterday. Wonderfully silly, marvellously acted and a masterclass on Brechtian staging of a well known classic.

Ms Walker and the cast and crew of our Upper School Production of 'Lear' received this glowing feedback from the Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation team and it is thoroughly deserved. Well done to all involved!

Need to buy a Xmas present? How about theatre tickets to see our forthcoming production of 'High School Musical' at Yvonne Arnaud Theatre with boys from George Abbot School in March 2025? We are working really hard to make it a fabulous show! Click on the QR code below! #allinthistogether

We're soaring from all the feedback we received on High School Musical at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. Thank you to our talented cast and Drama and Music departments for three spectacular performances, not to mention the talented boys from @GAbbot_News - you all bopped right to the top!

Today is Day 1 of Mr Campbellās Drama Summer School with Tormead girls and RGS Guildford boys. A bit like our production of āMatilda Jrā, we have the tricky challenge of putting on a show in a week! We will be exploring theatre company KNEEHIGH along the way. Wish us luck!

Massive congratulations to Bee who was selected as a national finalist for the first ever National Youth Monologues - a huge achievement. She had a brilliant day at the Ambassadors Theatre and did herself proud performing first in her category. What an experience for a talented student!
