Today is the anniversary of Mr Fresnels death. In 1960, Fresnel prism after 150 years, were used to manage #diplopia. These plastic membranes range from 0.5-30 prism dioptres. Initially, used in #lighthouse beacons. Now in #Orthoptics #ophthalmology & #strabismus.
