My short Cutaway screens tonight at Toronto Outdoor Picture Show coincidentally marking 10 years since it premiered at Locarno. It's screening before Perfect Days and I love that pairing. Both focus on isolated characters comforted by work but both also find a lot of tragedy in that.

Thank you to all the amazing arts folks who came out in support of my Motion 149, Funding the Arts. You are the cultural workers, librarians, curators, actors, and set builders who bring so much to this province—economically, creatively and educationally.

Big thank you to Dr. Jill Andrew, PhD (she/her) for inviting us as part of a group of Ontario arts organizations to speak about the funding challenges putting unsustainable pressure on our sector.
