Today at the #SummitForDemocracy, IFES announced a set of voluntary election integrity guidelines for online platforms that were developed with and supported by several major tech companies.

“These guidelines are an important step forward in the fight against disinformation and help to enhance transparency and fairness in democratic processes." – The Carter Center Democracy Program Director David Carroll

Martin’s departure will be a real loss to the UN, to the staff dedicated to its Purposes & Principles, and to the cause of international humanitarian assistance. His integrity, hard work, professionalism, and humor have been a source of inspiration to so many. He will be missed.
