1/ Cybersecurity threats are a mounting concern amongst the global democracy and election communities  IFES is meeting this challenge head on with the launch of the Cyber and Information Resilience Elections Network (CIREN).

CEO Tony Banbury and IFES Indonesia met with Ambassador Kamala Lakhdhir of U.S. Embassy Jakarta this week. IFES is grateful for this continued partnership.

The absolute highlight of the month for me: building meaningful connections between elections leaders and tech leaders. This is the launch of IFES’s Cyber and Information Resilience Elections (#CIREN!) in #Singapore for the Asia-Pacific region.

What a privilege to be back in Bangladesh at this time in its history. After years of closing democratic spaces & abuses, students & others said “no more.” IFES has been standing w/ the people of Bangladesh since 2013 & we will support them now as they build their future.

When pro-democracy voices in Bangladesh called for end to authoritarianism, women’s voices were critical. As important decisions about Bangladesh’s future are made, women’s voices must be central. IFES proud to support women leaders from Chittagong Hill Tracts. #ifesgender

As the people of Bangladesh make decisions about their democratic future, they will be able to count on the support of intl friends. So grateful to Embassy of Switzerland for hosting a dinner for me w/ wonderful Ambassadors & officials from Australia, EU, Japan, UK, US, and UN.
