This is my great uncle James McLeish. 80 years ago today he died when his plane was shot down near Stuttgart. He was a wireless operator on a Royal Air Force Lancaster bomber. I took my dad to see where he was buried in the Commonwealth War Graves cemetery in Durnbach a few years ago
