Move faster. Slowness anywhere justifies slowness everywhere. 2021 instead of 2022. This week instead of next week. Today instead of tomorrow. Moving fast compounds so much more than people realize.

Just kind of obsessing over the amazing and perfectly-framed satellite imagery today of the inbound California storm. This is a *textbook* mid-latitude cyclone, with well-defined warm and cold fronts, and it's even developing an eye-like feature near its center. #CAwx

Monday & Tuesday will be very snowy for MammothMountain. They may be some of the snowiest days of the season we've seen and one of the heaviest snow days I've seen in quite some time. We're currently sitting at 203% of average for the date! Expect upwards of 4 - 6 FT of snow!

Our Nevada Campus is producing anode copper foil - a year after breaking ground - and later this year, we'll begin cathode qualification. U.S. Department of Energy investment represents a critical milestone in the US' commitment to addressing the most important gap in EVs. youtu.be/uo3Vqwe2U34

We are now at 120% of our average seasonal #snowfall (432" this year, 360" normally) and 176% of our normal snowfall to this date in the season. 36 feet of snow is deep but we're preparing for more! The next week of predicted storms could bring us to 40 or even 45 feet of snow!

Officially the snowiest Oct-Feb period since 1970 as recorded by the Central Sierra Snow Lab near Donner Summit, and likely the highest since 1952. It's also the coldest winter recorded so far for Tahoe City since 1952, but I doubt we're getting to 800 inches again. UC Berkeley Central Sierra Snow Lab

With 7.7" (19.5 cm) of #snow over the last day, '22/'23 has passed '82/'83 as the 2nd snowiest season (Oct 1 - Sept 30) since the CSSL was built in 1946! We now have a season total of 677" (56.4 feet, 17.2 m). Still far from #1 but we'll get closer over the next week. #CAwx
