One of the many reasons I try to fly Alaska Airlines whenever I can: This morning, as I boarded my flight from SFO to DCA, I was behind two deaf passengers who were thanked by the gate agent in sign language. Just watching that small thoughtfulness made my WEEK.

The 5 best museum cafes in D.C. include three Smithsonian dining halls, where the views take in monuments and waterfalls. Dig in: #museumcafe wapo.st/3ZCl9Fe

I get it, “stuff” happens. But americanair should have more than three agents working when four flights are simultaneously delayed or canceled in Albany, NY (and at least one plane load of passengers has been waiting almost six hours). Public messages are few and far between

Have you ever spent a ton of $ on a mediocre meal in a chef-driven restaurant only to seek out a chain afterwards to get satisfied? I’m here to tell you the club sandwich made with potato bread and fresh-tasting coleslaw Applebee's Grill + Bar outside Southampton is pretty good. End rant.
