BREAKING: Metro just announced it will launch its new “Tap. Ride. Go.” payment system on Metrorail on Wednesday. Riders will be able to directly tap a credit or debit card, or a phone linked to a debit/credit card, without needing a SmarTrip card. #wmata

There is a new direct flight from our area to West Africa in the skies right now. Tonight United launched three times a week round trip service between Dulles and Dakar, Senegal. MWAA sent me these pictures of a ceremony marking the first flight.
