Exciting findings on Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology ! França et al showed a significant decrease in all-cause mortality among ICD patients in their EP Lab. In addition, the incidence of VT/VF in ICD patients with Chagas disease was no longer elevated in their latest study period.

I am honoured to be part of the NIH #TMRC SaMiTrop team under the leadership of Ester C Sabino. We have been studying Chagas disease, including biomarkers, the natural history and treatment strategies. More than 50 papers have been published!
