Alief is declining. Westchase, Midwest and Eldridge/West Oaks continues to experience growth. A good thing. Briarmeadow was listed as one of the hottest neighborhoods according to HAR in 2022. Yet housing costs + stagnant wages attribute to population loss in Alief.
