Opening Day!

Warriors start their season off w/ a 5 inning victory over Northridge. Ben Cooper hit a walkoff monster HR to lead the Warriors to a 12-2 win. Tommy Delaney added 4 hits of his own. Cusack added 2 hits. Zack Steingard got the win on the mound going 4 strong w/ 8 k's & only 1 ER.

Warriors start their season 2-0 after an 11-2 win over Rolling Meadows. Julian Delao got the win, going 5 innings, giving up 1 ER & striking out 3. Connor Woodford shut the door, pitching 2 IP, & giving up only 1 hit. It was a complete team effort on offense, racking up 10 hits.

Warriors move to 3-1 , with an 8-4 win over Von Steuben. Ben Cooper went 3-3 with another monster home run. Cusack and Torres added 2 hits apiece as well. Steingard went 4 strong, striking out 5. Woodford pitched a scoreless 7th w/ 2 ks. MW Athletics

Warriors w/ the big 2-1 victory over Maine South. Julian Delao shoved all game, pitching a CG, while giving up only 1 ER, & striking out 4. Luis Huguet had 2 big hits, & scored the game winning run in the 6th. Tannor Carson added a hit & played outstanding defense at 3B.

Warriors win 7-2 vs. Elmwood Park. Torres, Cusack, Cooper, and Delaney had 2 hits apiece. Carson (W) went 5 strong, giving up 2 hits, 1 ER, and striking out 4. MW Athletics

Warriors come away w/ a clutch 4-2 victory over Highland Park. Delao (W) pitched another gem, going 6 ip w/ 4 ks. Delao and Torres also had 3 hits apiece at the dish, and Delaney had a big HR. Rematch Thursday. MW Athletics

Congrats to Ethan Cusack (Wisconsin- River Falls) and Collin Duffy (Quincy) as they sign their NLI to play baseball in college. MW Athletics

Maine West with the nice 9-2 victory over Deerfield. Krecu (W), Dudzik, and Duffy all pitched well; allowing only 2 ER. Torres led the offense w/ 2 hits, to raise his season BA to .438. MW Athletics

Warriors with a nice 9-4 win vs. Vernon Hills. Offense tallied 15 hits, led by Carson's 3. Steingard got the win, giving up 2 ER in 4.1 ip. Host the Cougars in game 2 on Thursday. MW Athletics

Warriors win 13-3 vs. Vernon Hills. Delaney had 3ish hits at the dish, and scored 3 runs. Torres also added 3ish hits and 3 RBI. Ramirez had 2 hits as well. Delao (W) was strong on the mound, pitching a CG, striking out 5, and allowing only 2 ER. MW Athletics

Warriors finish the regular season with a walk-off win vs. St. Pats 2-1. Delaney's single in the bottom of the 7th scored Cusack from 2nd. Thanks to the 2004 alumni for coming out and supporting us. Congrats on your 20-year reunion! The 2004 Warriors had a school record 30 wins!
