Glad to hear it. But if I may, Senator - more listening and less talking. You dismissed legitimate concerns with the bill, and you belittled the very idea of federal lands. You’re going to have to work to rebuild trust.

I don’t mind seeing a “current policy baseline” score. But you can’t have it both ways; where new legislation gets a low cost because it’s assumed to expire when the law says it does - and the extension *also* gets a low cost because no one believed the expiration date.
