If you saw a group of dudes like this grabbing a neighbor or family member and trying to throw them in the back of a black, tinted-window van, what would you do? If they came for you, what would you do?

Even if this conduct is legal, it is incredibly toxic to public trust and will do incalculable damage to law-enforcement/community relations, and shouldn't be done for that reason alone.

Slashing red tape & streamlining process on rooftop solar installs would reduce prices by far more than the amount lost in the repeal of tax credits. Permitting and roadblocks are hobbling clean energy in the US.

This week has shown us that selling 3 million acres of public land is the most universally-unpopular proposal in America. Senators: the entire nation is watching what you do on this.

Freedom is a precious gift. Today is Freedom Day, Juneteenth. We should all celebrate the freedom we have as Americans. And pray that all people can have the same blessings of freedom, regardless of where they live and what they believe.

The idea that ICE goons can walk around masked and with zero ID because of 'doxxing' is absurd. Normal police walk around without masks. Judges, politicians, reporters, etc. all go maskless despite risks. ICE aren't special little snowflakes who get to dodge accountability.

Slavery is the most glaring instance of the U.S. violating its founding principles—and its abolition is without a doubt the most dramatic example of America becoming more aligned with its premise. We should all be able to celebrate that. reason.com/2025/06/19/jun…

What’s interesting about this Is that coal production dropped significantly during the first Trump administration and will drop again in the second Trump administration.

Since I’m being called out in this thread, I’ll return the favor. Here you see one of the word games being played with the land sale proposal. A defender of the proposal insists that the concerns of hunters/fishermen/campers and the like are unfounded because it exempts land

Glad to hear it. But if I may, Senator - more listening and less talking. You dismissed legitimate concerns with the bill, and you belittled the very idea of federal lands. You’re going to have to work to rebuild trust.

I don’t mind seeing a “current policy baseline” score. But you can’t have it both ways; where new legislation gets a low cost because it’s assumed to expire when the law says it does - and the extension *also* gets a low cost because no one believed the expiration date.
