(1/3) Do female ministers negotiate differently on the international stage? As part of an intra-chair collaboration, project member Tom McCrae Hunter and chair postdoc Tuuli-Anna Huikuri are currently collecting data on the gender composition of deliberations in the Council of the EU.

Tom McCrae Hunter Stefanie Walter The paper – presented at @ecpr conference this week – shows that IO salience in parliamentary speech varies in systematic ways related to characteristics on the IO-level (such as type and level of IO authority), time (e.g. intl. crises) and country (e.g. IO membership).
