There are two types of bullshit to avoid 1. external (that just comes up) 2. internal (that you signed up for without thinking) both are exhausting second one is much harder to get out of

"I'm a futurist" said a public speaker to a crowd of 3,000 Also no irony, dead serious Same man at breakfast told me "Tom, sometimes I have impostor syndrome"

80% of the public believes they - drive better than others - are smarter than others - use AI better than others etc... remember that whenever you read a hook variation of "you're using it wrong"

This is why I will never release a course on marketing courses It's also the same reason you will fail following any of the ones available The market / platforms / environment / trends etc... change monthly If you buy a course made 4 years ago You're buying what worked for

Went to an official Cursor meet-up Nice people However very basic info Could not handle any tough questions There was some workshop on how to use it upstairs I was talking to a buddy while some guy runs down and says fuck this I ask what's up They've spent the last 30

Building with AI is no different than managing people Same exact issues whether its "unclear instructions" or "stupidity" or "let's try again" Just much faster feedback loops

After working with AI I have so much less tolerance for slow non thinking employees AI shows me something fast. In the time I can get one thing from a worker, with AI we have already done 30 iterations Need ideas? Can get 5 very quick with probability attached

Just gave a landing page job to two employees 5 days later design is 80% finished Took me two hours total to design and code the entire thing with opus and codex Went live 30 minutes later Graphics guy showed me his non finished design Worse than what I came up with This

Spoke with a dev He had no idea you can use codex and claude at the same time in VSC Said it was the only reason he used Cursor ... which is just a fork of VSC
