The fact that 34 Democrats in the House today voted to end the California EV mandate only reinforces the need for the House Republicans to eliminate all of the subsidies for EVs in the Big Beautiful Bill. And it will provide hundreds of billions in offsets for No Tax on Tips!

Great piece from Tom Pyle and Institute for Energy Research. Occasionally, Washington talks about phasing out subsidies for wind and solar. Don't believe them, they aren't serious. The PTC began in 1992. It was supposed to offer 7 years of help to get a "nascent" wind industry off the ground.
