Some people seem to think Tony Holohan tried to cover something up in 2018.

The decision to inform patients was taken in 2016 and he had no problem with it.

It's nonsense to suggest a cover-up of letters in 2018, given they were voluntarily sent out fully two years previously.

This is defamatory, on top of ignorant, in other words a regular tweet on the CervicalCheck scandal 😂

It's been almost 6 years since the scandal broke, surely it was possible to spare one hour since 2018 to read up on the timeline of events 🤦‍♂️

Coverage isn't where it needs to be. The goal is 80% participation but it's only at 73%.

One reason for that is people undermining confidence in screening by talking nonsense on social media.
