Hi UK physio friends, I have a cousin in Dublin with some back pain. It has persisted for a year now. She has had physio before but all they did was massage and do some stretches, no education or exercise etc. Do you know any good physios there who can help her out?

It’s stunning to chat to undergrad psychology students to discover they’ve not heard of the replication crisis but are still being failed for not using APA style properly

Whilst I wholeheartedly agree with the content and message. I’m not sure how I feel about medical journals taking a political stance like this. I’d love to hear other people’s thoughts! thelancet.com/journals/lance…

This is the kind of research I can get behind. In summary, saying “twizpipe” during a noxious stimulus has no effect on pain response. frontiersin.org/articles/10.33…

Very grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the pain physiology chapter of this textbook 🙂 Fingers crossed first year students will now understand the difference between nociception and pain!

Did my first shoulder surgery with patient under meditation only. Confess I was cynical but worked beautifully. #trustthepatient

We've had #MdDS patients from around Australia participate in our trial at Western Sydney University. Not only has it benefited them, it has allowed us to gather important clinical data to that will inform future treatments for all patients with MdDS ✊ Rocco Cavaleri Tom Astill
