As I struggled to finish pea harvest due to rain, equipment that dies, and some operator error. I realized that I get to put $500 with every load of grain that goes to town. Not sure if I should be calling the suicide help line, lining things up for an auction, or just sleep easy

Fired combine up today. Almost got stuck. Leaving tracks and ruts, everything you want in no till farming. Cut 50 acres. Took sample to elevator. Good news. 56 pound 14.5 pro 12.3 moisture and 135 falling numbers. Not a single elevator wanted any of my wheat.

Checked all normal wet spots. Turns out there was another wet area.

Canola in NE MT. Don’t think I will benefit from high prices this year

Just got Starlink set up. Speed tests are much better than current provider. Time will tell on stability and if the speed is worth it

FBN is offering yellow pea contracts in Kansas and Nebraska. Will be interesting to see what happens when Wheat gets more profitable
