Worked through a seven-round Cowboys mock on the ESPN simulator. This is what I came away with:

Cowboys felt he was better at tackle than guard a year ago. Covers them as a swing tackle at the very least.

An important time at The Star for the Cowboys with the team's 30 visits starting today through Friday. Most of the time, the players they select or sign priority undrafted free agents from this group. Cowboys held their Dallas Day workout on Tuesday.

As of today, Mike McCarthy says Tyler Smith will remain at guard. All could change depending on how the draft shakes out.

Maybe he doesn’t have a choice but Mike McCarthy is not worried about the losses the Cowboys have suffered in free agency, calling it part of the business. From the Owners’ Meetings:

The Seahawks' deal with DT Johnathan Hankins is for one year and $2.05M with $300K guaranteed, a source tells me. Hankins got a $300K signing bonus, a $1.24M base salary and $510K in per-game bonuses.

A reminder that a year ago from the owners meetings it was floated that Terence Steele could play guard. He didn’t. So whatever is being said about Tyler Smith right now should be tempered until we see what happens in the draft.

Tyron Smith, left tackle: Says it came down to the Jets and : “And for the way things were looking in Dallas, I knew it was most likely going to be the Jets. Honestly, I got excited for a new chapter in my life.” Says his first time as a free agent was “stressful.”

The Seahawks are indeed signing veteran NT Johnathan Hankins, as Mike Garafolo reported. As mentioned, he gives them a replacement for Mario Edwards Jr. in their D-line rotation and adds some beef at 320 pounds. Seattle doesn't really have that body type up front aside him him.
