The NCAA and conferences are revising their proposed roster limits in a court filing tonight. School’s will be allowed (but not required) to keep players who otherwise would have been cut due to the House settlement. Those player will not count toward the team’s roster number.

Each school will submit a list of players that were going to lose their spot as a result of the settlement - including incoming recruits who had offers revoked. Those athletes can go to any school for the rest of their college career w/o counting against the team’s roster limits.

Now, we wait to see if this change is enough to satisfy Judge Claudia Wilken, who still has not granted the deal final approval.
