I appreciate legislators taking time to visit with Region 17 and 18 leaders today. I also appreciate the courage shown by our these Individuals as they battle for public schools.

Simply an amazing day of recognizing campus Teachers of the Year. Seeing the joy of the teachers, students, and family members was just awesome. This is the GOOD stuff.

Baseball practice going on..anthem for softball game starts. Every kiddo…stops in place. These are the stories you don’t hear. Raising them right!!!

I had the chance to read to second graders today, and I might have elaborated on the story just a bit! This is the good stuff!

I LOVE seeing our student leaders greeting their peers at drop off this morning. Tons of smiles!

Had a chance to visit with the Anna Historical Society today. The welcome was fantastic and I loved networking with this group. Sit with them and you will see they love their community!

The best part of my job is being reminded daily of how awesome students are!

A great day with our student advisory council. Kids are awesome! It was fun to learn from them.

So thankful for our folks meeting kids at the car doors this morning….but I’m telling ya, the bottom fell out!

Big night for our CTE programs at their annual expo, followed by our Coyettes. Awesome things happening here in Anna.

Tonight we celebrated our AAAC students. The emotions were real, raw, and flat out awesome. Congratulations to our newest graduates!

Another opportunity to praise our Teachers of the Year. Big thanks to the Hurricane Creek Rotary Club for loving on our people!

Yesterday we had the honor of hosting the United States Secretary of Agriculture, Brooke Rollins in Anna. Coming from a family deeply invested in farm and ranch, I was impressed by her genuine appreciation for those in the agriculture industry.

A great morning at Senior Signing Day. It was amazing to see all of the support from friends and family for this special event!
