We are happy to report that #ESTO2, our first-ever phase 3 RCT on efficacy of atorvastatin in combination with ADT against advanced #prostatecancer has now recruited over 200 patients, surpassing 50% of the recruitment target. Recruitment speed currently approx 7 patients/month

This very interesting study raises a clinically relevant question: does PSMA-PET at PSA relapse of localized #prostatecancer detect metastases earlier, or rather only more indolent disease? This study suggests the latter, more benign pheno/fenotype and survival after PSMA-detect.
