Folks, no one is "lying" about the death toll. It takes time to find bodies, identify them, inform their family members, and add to the tally. Officials have said they expect the death toll to rise. No one has any incentive to suppress the "real number" of deaths from Helene.

Truth is important, especially in times of crisis. So please share.
