Do folks have favorite active matter examples at the cell/tissue level?

Most of the examples I've seen are at the organismal scale (birds flocking, etc) or at the nanoscale (microtubule asters/vortices), but was hoping for cell-scale behaviors.

Okay this is a ridiculously clever solution to evolving better optogenetic tools. Hoping this is a watershed paper that will lead to much better tools in the near future! 🔦
