Don't be unsettled by those who lack faith in you. Let them be a reminder that the conversation should've never been about you anyway. The only question is: "Has God called me to do it?" If the answer is "yes," move forward with faith in HIM and leave your ego out of it.

We all need that friend who knows the secrets in your heart and who will call you out when everyone else is letting you off the hook with general advice and excuses that don’t apply to what you know internally about your destiny.

Judge all things according to the weight of the evidence, not according to the perceived moral superiority of the conclusion.

There are three ways to win a debate: 1. Be on the side of truth. 2. Be on the side of rhetorical force or mass appeal. 3. Opt out of debates in which #2 is valued more than #1

There are entire communities that exist for the purpose of ridiculing your point of view. There are also communities that ridicule those communities. Escaping ridicule is not an option. Seek the truth.

Such friends are a blessing and a challenge, but yes…may God bless us all with at least one friend like this.

A lot of people don’t actually know what their real battle is. That’s why they’re so prone to squabbling about minor differences among their own side and daily drama. When you know your battle, you know your distractions.

Leadership is what you do before anyone sees you as a leader. You can wait for followers or you can take the lead by saying “I will move towards my destiny first and let the external validation catch up with me.”
