Jon Meddings Braden Manns tracy wasylak Mary Brindle Alberta Health Services Shelley Valaire Patients 4 Change Institute of Health Services & Policy Research I agree. I also believe the rural zones will experience the greatest impact if SCNs are compromised!
joan Braden Manns tracy wasylak Mary Brindle Alberta Health Services Shelley Valaire Patients 4 Change Institute of Health Services & Policy Research Yup, you did great work Joan.
I am absolutely certain that the vast majority of Albertans have no idea what a gem the AHS run SCN's are, how respected they are around the world and how many provinces are trying to emulate them.
And us? We don't seem to care if we keep them.
Braden Manns tracy wasylak Mary Brindle Alberta Health Services Shelley Valaire Patients 4 Change Institute of Health Services & Policy Research Jon Meddings Having had the opportunity to participate in SCN planning I am confident that many successful quality, patient and fiscal centred programs would never have been launched across the province without the leadership support and transformative roadmap planning of SCNs!
tracy wasylak Mary Brindle Alberta Health Services Shelley Valaire Patients 4 Change Institute of Health Services & Policy Research Very disappointed to hear this Tracy. As Jon Meddings feared, I hope this is not the first of many steps by the UCP to dismantle (and silence) the Alberta strategic clinical networks. Are we flushing better stroke and cancer outcomes down the drain?
The return of #measles is cause for concern, not disdain. Who could have imagined that the #COVID19 pandemic could undo decades, if not centuries, of public health progress? by André Picard
