For those of you wondering, usualy the writers rooms of network shows open up either after Memorial Dau, or after June 1. Obviously, that won't be happening this year. Every week from, say, June 5th on, the networks will fall a week behind on shooting. 1/2

Our strike won't settle before SAG's contract expires June 30 (the DGA is in own negotiation, but their sweetheart deal won't end strike). SO, the absolute earliest writing resumes maybe late July/August. Eps won't be ready till thanksgiving. and there goes the fall season. 2/2
