When you gender children's behaviour, you let boys get away with things you scold girls for and vice versa. Climbing out of a crib isn't 'boy behaviour'; it's just a child exploring mobility. Some babies are more active than others, regardless of whether they're boys or girls.

I also need them to make peoples criminal records public. Not just for sex offenders, but abusers, and murderers too, and we need to be able to search it. Like in America.

i don’t think i ever remember a time when i wasn’t a feminist or thinking critically about social issues. i realised the state of things from a young age, i just didn’t fully understand what i was seeing or why it felt wrong or unfair. i just knew that it did.
