Last big project of 2024 complete. Brilliant work by Joe Tiplady, Andy West and our contractor JW Napthine. Full Transformation of our 16th fairway bunker, raising the base by 1/2 metre. Lots of Railway sleepers and lots of sand.

It’s that time of year to get our bunkers into shape ready for the playing season. A before and after picture of the green side bunker on the 1st at Ganton GC.

This is another Crabapple tree that we are very proud to have at Ganton GC. We have been told that it may be one of the biggest in England. It’s measures approximately 145 inches at the base of the trunk. Let us know if you are aware of another Crabapple tree that is bigger.

Ganton GC provides suitable nesting and foraging areas for Oystercatchers. Always a joy to hear and see them.

A beautiful Common Fumitory found growing in one of our sandy wasteland areas at Ganton GC. It’s one of many wild flowers that can be found growing in our sand wasteland areas.

A beautiful Garden Tiger moth caterpillar found at Ganton GC. These caterpillars are known for their hairy woolly bear appearance and are typically found in various habitats, including gardens, woodlands and coastal areas.
