I had a truly amazing time at the Minescapes Summer School at the Herzog August Bibliothek - we explored the historic mining landscapes of the Harz mountains and conducted soil tests, as well as consulting early modern mining manuscripts. Truly collaborative, interdisciplinary and stimulating.
