Despite the statistics & reports of severe injury there has never been a national campaign to raise awareness of male victims of female abuse. They are ignored in policy & denied resources. Systematically marginalised by selective attention. bbc.com/news/articles/…

Such a tragedy and such a terrible falsehood: "Woman who murdered her estranged husband and then lied to emergency services saying he had taken his own life has been sentenced to life imprisonment." dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…

I remember once seeing an academic saying false allegations don’t really have any serious effects He’s clearly never worked with the amount of falsely accused individuals I have, or read the below thesun.co.uk/news/36662238/…

In a Spanish school, children were taught the 'machete to the macho' dance. Three boys are surrounded by a group of girls, who slowly circle the boys while repeatedly pointing at them. What is this teaching children? A disturbing article by D'Agosta centreformalepsychology.com/male-psycholog…

Tragic story of an Oxford student, falsely accused of sexual assault, who ended up throwing himself off a bridge. A report into this 2024 event has revealed the college's failure to properly support men in this circumstance. telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/10/1…

#MenToo I was asked to be the first speaker at a men's support network for Loughborough Uni set up by an enterprising male stident who wanted to create a more supportive culture for young men at college who are a risk group for suicide - guess what? the University shut down the whole

Two years ago I had the privilege to interview the founder of the world's first abuse refuge for women, and author of the first book on domestic violence – Erin Pizzey. As we know, it was Erin's empathy for male victims, her insistence that abuse was not gendered, and her

Harmful gender assumptions often say that men are “too strong to be hurt” or should just “fight back,” but abuse is control, fear & power, not physical capability . If you’re a man experiencing domestic abuse from your partner, your feelings are valid. You deserve support

I direct men to these stories and I relate to the 2nd man. My ex, a respected religious leader, misinterpreted the Bible (Ephesians 4:26) to sleep-deprive, insisting we must resolve any disagreement by bedtime & preventing me going to bed in time for work tinyurl.com/mpwhct2w

The empathy gap. It's a dangerous topic, but is there any truth to the idea, that we might be less sympathetic towards men? #internationalmensday #menshealth #mensmentalhealth #masculinity #fathers #fatherhood #masculinityisnottoxic #mentalhealth #empathygap

Utterly horrific example of parental alienation, false allegations and deliberate inhuman behaviour against a father. Highlighting clear systematic bias. Those professionals involved need to look at themselves in the mirror. Thank you to June Venters KC for supporting the father.

Really important money and funding but again another government simply cannot bring itself to say "this funding also supports men and boys too". Male victims of domestic abuse continue to be narratively erased. #vawg gov.uk/government/new…

In the district of Westmorland, Cumbria, which is well known for the Lake District, the only use of the word 'men' in the Safety Plan is of men as perpetrators of domestic abuse. How would anyone know that male victims of VAWG crimes are recognised. too. tinyurl.com/57kpnsbx
