Today we gathered to recognize the signing of Treaty 7 and raise the Survivors’ Flag to honour residential school survivors. I’m thankful to the Elders, and others in the MRU community, who shared their stories and participated in the ceremony.

Thank you to the MRU employees who joined me for breakfast this morning. I had a wonderful time catching up with some familiar faces and meeting a few new colleagues for the first time. Can’t wait to host this again in the winter semester.
