Looks like an idyllic campsite, huh? Photos can be misleading. The wind howled from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. 40-50mph gusts, not visible here. Pretty tho, eh?

Sun spilling into ‘the north forty’ this morning. Note the dry grass; we entered Stage 2 Fire Restrictions yesterday. No campfires anywhere.

Pastel skies at dusk along the shores of Voyageurs National Park. With water making up a whopping 40% of the park, most of my images are from a shoreline. It was a stark contrast to the deserts I’m used to!
