'As the study states in its introduction, 'How can a public school deny enrollment to a student in 2024? Usually because of their address. Most public schools still use exclusionary maps to determine who is or isnʼt eligible to enroll.''

A blast from the past & multiple myth buster to boot.

Grateful to Joe Trippi for his courage to rise above tribal politics & call out zip code schooling.

And grateful to Tim DeRoche & AvailableToAll for continuing to spotlight the damage that system continues to do.

Glad to see IFPS bring to light that redlining still exists when it comes to public education in many urban areas.

Could be a strong addition to the AvailableToAll movement!

I’m sad because I’ve loved watching this group so much. I hope you have something in your life you love this irrationally, even if it breaks your heart.

That was bad. Really bad. But we've seen this before. And the team has repeatedly turned it around at halftime.

FWIW, families *do* pay for access to public schools, it’s just done via mortgage/rent instead of tuition.

There are many *public* school systems that are unaffordable for most families, leaving most families only able to access “affordable” public schools.
