What does the new Protocol & Application Support (PAS) team do? We're coming at the upgrade process from two different angles: 1️⃣ what goes into an upgrade & 2️⃣ what comes out of an upgrade 👇

1️⃣ The *current* process for what goes into the upgrade should be clearer. While Protocol Coordination solicits stakeholder feedback about & facilitates any structural changes to the process, PAS will be aiming to make existing processes clearer, create tooling & clarity to

2️⃣ Nico will be leading the effort to help the app layer integrate new features. Right now, that focus is around 7702 changes for wallets and wallet infra, but it'll generally be making sure that the app layer can make use of the features that come out of an upgrade

genuinely, i'm excited that the Ethereum Foundation has prioritized the ability to understand and contribute to the ACD process for a wider range of stakeholders. we've got a few irons in the fire already that seek to address the needs of different audiences 👀

to start, my role includes interviewing devs to understand existing pain points and prototyping solutions to those pain points. personal goals: 1️⃣ remove friction for core devs 2️⃣ clarify how app & tooling devs weigh in 3️⃣ explain EIPs and how they affect you
