Another weekend and another improvement by someone in the 400m hurdles domestically this season. Oli Parker had already improved his best from 51.94 in 2024 to 51.02 in 2025. He's now gone sub-51 for the first time with 50.48. Sam Lunt, Alastair Chalmers, Richard Davenport

Just astonishing. In 2011, Robert Kubica experienced a horrific rally crash, suffering 42 fractures and losing almost three quarters of his blood. It was meant to be his final season with Renault in F1, before joining Ferrari a year later. The move never happened because of

Staggering runs from Innes FitzGerald and Hannah Nuttall in the 3000m at the Stockholm Diamond League. Pair run 8:32.90 and 8:33.82 and go ninth and tenth on the UK all-time list respectively.

Mondo Duplantis you bloody legend. Already an Olympic champion, world champion and world record-holder. The only thing left on his bucket list was to break the outright world record at his home Diamond League in Stockholm. Job done now. Unreal.

That’s got to be one of Georgia Hunter Bell’s best wins of her career. After a slower than usual first lap, given Mary Moraa stacked up the field, she came from absolutely nowhere in the home straight. Won an 800m race from lane four and clocked 1:57.66. Some going.

Julien Alfred has kicked off her 100m outdoor season in some style. After winning the 100m with 10.89 in Oslo, she's now set a meeting record of 10.75 (0.9) in Stockholm. Dina Asher-Smith second with 10.93 and that's a fine run in mid-June.

That Stockholm meeting is one of the best Diamond Leagues I can think of in living memory. A myriad of superlatives, emotions and unparalleled drama. The Diamond League can get criticism, and rightly so at times, but this was it at its best.

Really cool story of when Mondo Duplantis first vaulted at the Stockholm Olympic Stadium. Vaulted just under four metres at the age of 11. Unreal.

Absolute nightmare at St Pancras. Huge delays on Eurostar is not the kind of thing you want to hear about when travelling to Paris.
