An earthquake & snow… Two things I did not expect to encounter today!

I’ve always tried to pay special attention to preaching to the skeptics & doubters of the resurrection on Easter. I find that it produces great gospel conversations, deepens the faith of those who already believe, and models the tone & tools they can use with others in their life

This is how bad sickness has hit our family this month… My kids missed 12 days of school in March! Thanks to everyone who has been gracious & patient with all the sickness, sleeplessness, and chaos that has impacted life & leadership throughout the past month! 🤒🤢🏥

This is a story that only Jesus can write… Rob went from:

When you start the day PRAYING 🙏🏻 for the Holy Spirit to fill & use you, you spend the rest of your day LOOKING 👀 for opportunities & answers to that prayer! It's amazing how doing this each day before my feet hit the floor and my phone lands in my hand has been transformational

Pastors, in the long run, your church will never be healthier than you are. If the successes and/or pressures of ministry are causing you to internally implode, stop sacrificing your personal, family, and spiritual health & invite trusted people to invest in you getting healthier

I just learned of two more people that were led to Christ by people from Restored in the past few days! I love seeing everything that God as doing as our people are regularly using disciple making skills that we’ve developed in them in whatever opportunities arise! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

One month ago, a lesbian girl started attending Restored and was very transparent about her doubts, fears, & religious trauma. This past Sunday, the Holy Spirit broke through all of that, she gave her life to Jesus, and is now getting baptized Sunday. Jesus is powerfully working!

Having a church filled with so many first-generation Christians makes Baptism Sundays extra special. The room literally shakes with celebration as people clap/cheer/scream/shout/stomp! They know how much Jesus has done from them, and they're so excited to see him rescue others!

We have 10 more people getting baptized this Sunday at Restored! This week, I've had the privilege to hear & capture videos with each person's story. Sunday is going to be an incredible celebration! The room literally shakes as people excitedly celebrate & passionately worship!

Today was incredible! Here’s why:
🙌🏻 Started today praying with local pastors & leaders for our region!
🙌🏻 One of our other pastors led someone to Christ!
🙌🏻 Recorded two of the many stories for Baptism Sunday!
🙌🏻 Our Food Distribution served 375 Families and made the news!

A defining cultural axiom for healthy communication in our church is logistics are digital, emotions are personal.

Any time something rises to an emotional level, we don’t text, email, comment, etc… We talk face to face. This makes a massive difference in resolving things well
