Coming into this year, there had only been 16 times where a Syracuse basketball freshman scored 15 or more points, shot 60% FG or better and committed zero turnovers in the same game. Kiyan Anthony has now done that in both of his first two college games.

Syracuse center William Kyle is just the fifth SU player to reach 13 rebounds and 6 blocked shots in the same game, per Stathead. Everyone else played at least 35 minutes in the game. Kyle did it against Delaware State in just 21 minutes.

It may only be two games... but this Kiyan Anthony kid has been special. 7⃣

First time Syracuse has held an opponent under 30 points since 2014. SU has allowed an average of 49 points per game en route to a 4-0 start. Big step up in competition next week against Utah (Fri) and #14 Michigan (Sun) at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT.

Syracuse basketball started the season projected to have the 100th best defense in the country, per KenPom. SU is already up to 42nd in Kenpom's DRTG this morning. The Orange are allowing 46.7 points per game, the top mark in the nation. San Diego St. is second at 51.0.
