Demonstration farms are a key approach to promoting learning and adoption of climate smart agriculture. Under the BRLTC project funded by FAO in South Sudan under African Development Bank Group we have been able to establish 6 demo farms this year and train over 5000 farmers on good agric. practices.

As FSDA we are key advocates for #farming as a group as it helps pool resources together such as labor, security, capital etc. However, we also encourage replication to individual farms to increase household productivity.

FSDA believes in #partnership , we establish distribution sites that have been audited for safety, accessibility and convenience to reach “the last mile” to our beneficiaries. the sites are also used by other organizations in our sites such as Chukdum, Budi County, EES.

Thanks to support from FAO in South Sudan we were able to empower over 15,000 farmers through support with 15, 000 farming tools, over 50 MT of crop and vegetable seeds to restore food nutrition and build resilience in Eastern Equitoria and Warrap states. #SSOT #Agriculture #SDG1
