If these guys jumped out of a car and grabbed you on the street in Indianapolis or Tampa, would your first thought be that they are government officials? Would compliance be your natural reaction??

the GOP's proposal to sell 5,200 acres of federal land for a few beads (basically), with no actual goal in mind for the land, is almost too stupid to believe. get your grubby little stubs off my mountain vistas and don't talk to me again until you're ready to build a megacity.

You could sell all 640M acres of federal land and it would raise less than half what the federal government spends each and every year. Don’t let Mike Lee sell off your American birthright for six months of government spending.

I don't comment on politics because it's off-brand for me, but this is in my wheelhouse. Selling pristine, wild, open land for more sprawl is bad policy and bad regional planning. Densify existing urban cores instead.
