Yelef Initiative is happy to receive support from UNDP The Gambia’s Post-TRRC Unit as we embark on a knowledge-building outreach. This initiative aims to raise awareness and educate victims and community members on the ongoing post-TRRC processes and implementations.
Implementing the TRRC recommendations is a recipe for social cohesion, justice, national reconciliation, and reparations for victims. Recently, I participated in implementing a series of post-TRRC activities through Women's Association 4 Women & Victims' Empowerment, with funding from UNDP The Gambia.
Starting today, Fantanka begins a community campaign to bring Living with the Scars to the people with support from UNDP Gambia. We’re keeping the memory of April 10th & 11th alive and the message of “Never Again” stronger than ever. #LivingWithTheScars #NeverAgain #Fantanka
Today, we recorded our very first video podcast in the studio, featuring the Special Advisor on the Post-TRRC process to the Minister of Ministry of Justice. The conversation focused on diaspora engagement and the ongoing accountability mechanisms. A heartfelt thank you to
