Over the past couple of weeks, Metzger and CFT classrooms got new carpet, thanks to the recently passed 2025 bond. Metzger’s library and CFT’s main office also received upgrades. More flooring projects are on the way for more of our schools.

We are excited to announce that Emily Anderson will be the new principal at Hazelbrook MS. Emily steps up from the associate principal position, bringing 13 years of middle school experience in various roles. Congrats, Emily!

Our Durham Elementary friends kicked off the year with their first assembly 🎉 A great way to celebrate the first weeks of school!

TTSD’s School Board honored local legislators Jules Walters, Courtney Neron Misslin, Dr. Sue Rieke Smith and Ben Bowman on Monday for their work in supporting public education.

Metzger classrooms celebrated Hispanic Heritage by having staff member Janet Garcia teach students how to make homemade tortillas. Each child had the chance to make one and learn how tortilla making is a tradition passed down through families.

This October we celebrate National Principals Month! We’re grateful for our incredible principals whose leadership, care, and dedication inspire students, staff, and families every day. Thank you for all you do to make our schools stronger!

The Unified Soccer season is well underway for both Tigard and Tualatin teams! Players are showing incredible sportsmanship and camaraderie as they take the field.
